Konferensprogram 15 mars

10.00 – 10.45
1. Nyere trend i Lys- og vejrægthed
Mads Strenov, Direktør Strenov ApS

11.00 – 11.45
2. Protective coating and QC for extended lifetime of offshore wind structures.
Nana Eckhardt M.Sc.Eng. FORCE Technology
Language: English

Maintenance and repair of unmanned offshore structures such as wind turbines is extremely expensive. The cost is typically a factor of 100 times greater than that of similar repair on land. The lifetime of a coating system depends on a number of factors of which the quality of surface preparation, the coating thickness and the quality of workmanship are the ones usually considered as the most important. However, at the same time they are usually the most uncertain factors. This presentation discusses the need for more QC during the coating process, which is believed to extend the lifetime of the coating system and thereby to reduce the overall costs for corrosion protection.

Nana Eckhardt, is a corrosion and metallurgy specialist and certified FROSIO level III inspector working in the field of offshore wind corrosion challenges. Her work at FORCE Technology since 2009 includes third party inspection and consultancy especially related to coatings and corrosion of steel and stainless steel

12.00 – 12.45
3. Automated Programming in High-Variant Surface Treatment Processes
Dr. Mikko Sallinen, Vice President of Innovation Convergent Information Technologies GmbH
Language: English

Offline programming has become common for programming robots in surface treatment but in the same time faced several challenges: programming is too time consuming to deal with very high variant products and finding efficient motions especially in narrow cells (brown-field) can be a very tedious task - and especially in the later challenge requires deep robotic skills. We present a software tool for planning and programming the surface treatment and surface inspection processes realized by industrial robots. In the presentation, we will illustrate the idea and show several interesting reference cases from the industry.

Dr. Tech. Mikko Sallinen is responsible for development of novel adaptive robot solutions and sales in South-East Asia. Dr. Sallinen also holds a position of Adjunct Professor in the University of Oulu, Finland.

13.00 – 13.45
4. Primer og Toplak 2 coat one bake
Launy Andersen, Teknisk Sælger AkzoNobel A/S

14.00 – 14.55
5. Increased production flow and reduced costs with optimized paint products and coatings specifications
Anders Nyboe Key Account Manager, Teknos A/S
Language: English

This presentation will treat lessons learned through the last 10 years in the coatings business aimed for surface treatment of components to the Wind industry. The presentation will present State of the art paint solutions developed and supplied by Teknos. The Presentation will start with a short presentation of Teknos; Global activities and products in general.

Anders Nyboe is educated Mechanical engineer with main focus on structural design and materials. Anders Nyboe joined the coating business in 2001 and has since then worked consistently within the area of coatings and corrosion technology. Anders Nyboe has spent 9 years with Siemens Wind Powers holding positions as specialist, technology owner and Senior Key Expert Advisor.

15.00 – 15.30       KEY-NOTE
6. About the perfidies of coating – damage examples and their causes
Mr. David Hoffmann, Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, Deutschen Forschungsgesellschaft für Oberflächenbehandlung
Language: English

Coating defects are not only annoying but also expensive. The DFO shows the com-plexity of damage analysis by illustrating various cases of damage which has been solved by the DFO. This requires an extensive assessment of the damage and its de-velopment, suitable analytical methods, profound expertise and a "good nose" for finding the root cause.

David Hoffmann works for the DFO (Deutschen Forschungsgesellschaft für Oberflächenbehandlung) as a project manager since 2015. In 2009 David Hoffmann successfully completed his studies of bio- and nanotechnologies at the university of applied science in Iserlohn, Germany.
